What is Tennis-Pool.com?
Tennis-pool.com is an online fantasy tennis game similar to other fantasy leagues that exist throughout the world for several sports.
For your information, a pool or a fantasy game is a way for individuals to compete against each other to see who has the best managing skills in a given sport.
On tennis-pool.com, you own a virtual team of real-world tennis players on the WTA Tour and ATP Tour. You manage that team and try to win over other fantasy team owners. Points are awarded according to the real-world performances of your players.
In other words, you will be able to select players for every single tournament and accumulate points each time that the player wins a game, just as they earn points for the WTA rankings or ATP rankings. Then, you will be able to compare the points you have made with all other participants.
Your goal is to reach the top of the tennis-pool.com rankings.

How do I play?
- If you are new to tennis-pool.com, you must complete the sign up form. You will be asked to choose 10 players for your WTA Tour team and 10 other players for your ATP Tour team. Each participant has a limited budget (15 millions $) for each team so you will have to choose your players wisely. Keep in mind that your first week's points are not calculated.
- If you played this game before but have not chosen your players for the 2012 season yet, you'll have to sign up again using your team name and password from last year.
- If you already have a 2012 account, then sign in using your team name and password to manage your team.
Please note that every week, you will have access to the trading zone for about 3 or 4 days (typically between Thursday and Sunday night). During that time, you may trade 6 players (3 WTA + 3 ATP).

How do I trade players?
Easy! Every weekend, you have until a few hours before the opening match in a tournament to make the final changes in your team for the following week. You can change 6 players (3 WTA players and 3 ATP players) during the trading period.
&nsbp;
What if I am not able to connect to the website during the trade period?
Basically, you can either keep your team or ask someone you trust to do it for you.
&nsbp;
What happens if I miss the deadline?
Quite simple. You will keep the same players as the previous week. If most of them are still active, you will not be in much trouble. However, if they’re taking a week off, then you might be sliding in our rankings.
&nsbp;
Can I trade after I view the draw of next week's tournament?
Yes, you are more than encouraged to do that. While we cannot guarantee that the draw will always be available before the deadline, we expect it to be the case for every tournament.

How are points compiled for the WTA Tour?
The key is to know how the actual players gain points. For each tournament, they will gain points for entering and then points for each round they win. Those points will vary depending on the importance (tier) of the tournament. See WTA Ranking System. The main difference between our ranking points and the way the WTA works is that unlike the WTA not only the top tournaments count in a player’s ranking. So if you keep a player for all the next year and that this player plays 22 tournaments, you will have gained more points than the player has. Another difference is that all points are reset at the start of the year, which is similar to the way the WTA championships race is compiled.
